This master’s thesis is focused on the business risk protection in construction projects. The first part is dedicated to an interpretation of theoretical knowledge which defines and describes the risk, acquaints readers with principles of the risk management and presents commonly used forms of the business risk protection in practice. The second part deals with a practical use of the protection tools and proposes their effective adjustment in the selected public works contracts.

Warehouse in Šakvice - construction technological project

Main goal of this thesis is effective design and comprehensible description of the assembly of reinforced concrete skeleton warehouse in Šakvice. In several chapters of this thesis is for preparing of this investor´s plan solved supplies prefabricated components. As well as their assembly into construction, equipment of construction site, used technologies, quality control and safety of performed works. There is great emphasis on the construction budget and its chronology. The aim was to use the rapid progress of construction of the supporting skeleton, taking into account the financial coast of the proposed technology.

You need to have a set price of construction work, which is a necessary part of the work contract. It is good to know the rights and obligations of the parties in the construction. In the practical part, the work deals with the possibility of fixing prices as well by the contractor under the contract for work.

Subcontract Management in a Construction Company

This thesis describes a subcontract management in a construction company. The theoretical section explains the terms of project management and project organization. This is followed by a practical section explaining how a construction company and its system of processing selects a subcontractors. This part of the thesis describes the filling of a particular construction order. The last part is the evaluation of the construction company’s current system and the system’s eventual improvement.

Damage Caused to the Building work by contractor

The aim of the thesis is describe how discounts are formulated in construction work. Different types of discounts are discussed from the point of view of the constructor. Mechanisms of providing discounts and calculations of total discounts are studied. Contract and signing over the construction work are analysed, because of their importance to prevent disagreement between customer and constructor.

Subcontract Management in a Construction Company

The aim of this bachelor thesis is the description of subdelivery management in a construction company. The work is focused on a given problem from the perspective of the contracting authority, as well as from the perspective of the subcontractor himself. The text is divided to two parts. The theoretical part explains the given terminology, while the practical part represents a specific construction company and describes various systems used for subdelivery management of the given company. Part of the work is dedicated to the analysis of subdelivery management in a previously delivered contract, followed by my own delivery companies management procedure.
